Quick Answer Needed If Possible

Just got a hammer from my LFS at a steak. Got it home and it has a couple. Of flea like creatures crawling in the base. Probably the size of a small ant. Any i can’t get a pic way too small. Any ideas before I make a decision on if to add this ?

they sound like amphipods and are beneficial. That being said.. you shouldn't be allowing any foreign bugs into your aquarium. New corals should all be dipped so you don't get any pests.
