Quick assistance needed before i throw away this shroom!! Bubble algea

2 weeks ago i added a mushroom to my take not noticing he had flatworms on him (smh). Since im also highly new to this world i THOUGHT i saw bouble algea on his foot, but had never truely seen it and wasnt sure.

Today i pulled him out to rinse in freshwater and remove the flatworms and i did confirm there is bubble algea. As i tried to remove the piece it popped! I heavily rinsed the shroom and have him in Tupperware with tank water... im scared to put him in the tank and have bubble aglea take over!

Is it safe to put him in? Or should i sacrifice him for the greater good of the tank?

Dont throw the shroom away! Just rinse him off with some tank water and put him back in the tank.
IMO the bubble algae pop thing is really overrated as I have not seen any science to back up the so called claim and besides when people put in Emrald crabs to eat the bubble algae the crabs are poping it all the time anyway.

I agree with not throwing the mushroom away. You have already rinced it off, so I would just it back in your aquarium.
