I am plumbing a water mixing station and I'd like to have one hose that I can quickly plug and unplug from any of three places:
- new saltwater reservoir
- RO/DI reservoir
- laundry sink (not critical, but would be nice)

This is in addition to a hard-plumbed line to bring NSW to the sump.

I've read that you can use marine/RV hose for a reef tank. What do I need for the connections, including things like unions, valves, ? My current dry fit, all 1" pipe with slip connections, is shown in the pictures below. My plan is to turn the two elbows on the lower left and lower right into tees. I don't know what should come off those tees. The capped off line coming out of the pump will go to the sump.

I would love for someone to explain to this me like I'm a five-year-old, as i get easily confused by the various fittings available. Thanks!

UPDATED QUESTION:

I just looked at my own post and realized that the pump won't move water out of the RO/DI for a filling hose, so that idea stinks. It would only come out as a gravity feed, which doesn't really work well unless the reservoir is fairly full (at least higher than bucket height). Can I just add another uniseal and a spigot for removing RO/DI water manually? Put it at the right height to fill a bucket?

For the NSW manual feed, should I just tee off the pipe that leads to the sump? I think that woudl be simpler. Leave the elbows where they are and skip the tees. If I want a quick disconnect, I would put it on whatever tees off the sump supply line.

Do I have that right? Please help, I want to finalize this thing! Thank you, R2R community!
