Quick heating SW?

Quick question, trying to get 20gal quarrentine tank set up, heater taking to long, anyone ever heated some SW to get to the right temp???

Don’t see why not. Heat small batches add, mix, wait 10 mins for temp to normalize, take temp, repeat until desired temp is reached.

I heat part of rodi water, before adding salt, in microwave to get the instant right temperature in mixture by adding hot water. Should work fine with already mixed water too.

When I need to heat water in a hurry, I fill gallon jugs of hot water and float them in the tank. Works great, but not as fast I'd guess as microwaving the water.

use an oversized heater with a power head in the bucket.
