Quick question- Phosphates got to zero while using NoPox. Nitrates are still around 80 using the API test. I need to dose phosphate, so I bought Brightwell Neophos. It looks like I should dose 1 ml per 1 gal to raise the phosphate level 1.2 ppm, but that would be too high a level, correct? The instructions then go on to say that a drop from the enclosed pipette will raise the same amount of water .06 ppm.

So if I want to treat my 120 gallon tank and assume 100 gallons, I would need 100 drops from the pipette to raise the level to .06?

With stuff like that, I would go half of what it recommends... Then give it a day or two, test, and add more if needed.

I generally tend toward the cautious side as well. Thanks for the advice!
