Quick Q on ALK

Hi all
My alk drops 0.6dkh everyday ,iv just set up a doseing pump a few days ago...Tmc easy dose pump
I add redsea B for ALK and it works out that i have to add 20ml to rise it to the 0.6 dKH I need
Having a bit of trouble getting the pump to dose right
I tried setting the pump to dose 1ml ..20 times in 24 hours
The pump was doseing under even after calibrating many times
I can get the pump to dose 10ml bang on when doing the calibrating test .
So I tried 2ml 10 times in 24 hours ,again doseing was all over the place ,sometimes under sometimes over
So today iv set it to dose 5 ml ...4 times in 24 hours
There's a 5 hour gap in between each dose .
Will this be OK to keep my alk stable or will I have mini swings , I was aiming to keep it rock steady
The people at my lfs said doseing 1 or 2ml was to small that's why the pump is not doseing right ?????

I'm not familiar with that dosing pump so can't help there.

Have you considered diluting your Part B with 3 part RODI to 1 part Part B? This way you could dose 5ml every 2 hours if my quick math is correct.

I only dose three times a day.....doing it for years....and no problems.

As far as, dosing 5ml four times a day, I'd say you should be fine. I'm not familiar with that doser, but the one I have, asks how much in total you would like to dose, and then how many times, you would like to break that up in a 24 hour period. It does have a minimum, as far as, times a day, for lower doses. I just don't remember what it is. Good Luck!
