Quick question about algae x

I just used algae x in my 10g nano I have noticed that the growing has stopped of the hair algae but the algae still remains on the rock, will the hair algae stay dead on the rock and need to be manually removed by my cuc or does it fall apart and get sucked into filtration.

I would manually remove as much as possible. As the GHA dies and decomposes, it will leach out the nitrate and phosphate that it previously consumed. Not sure if the CUC will be as crazy about dead algae as the live stuff or not.

There isnt much at all I cleaned off most before dosing the meds, just a few small tufts here and there.
