Quick question about washing dry sand

I just got some dry special grade sand. I was wondering how much should I wash it with RODI water? Should I keep rinsing the sand until the water is clear for it to be safe to use?

Flush it until it runs clean. Don't need to use RODI to wash it out. Clean it, then if you want give it a final rinse with RODI go for it. You will save a lot of RODI if you do that.

You don't need to use RODI to flush your sand, just use tap from a garden hose.

Fill a 5 gallon bucket half full with sand, run a garden hose down to the bottom of it and turn the hose on, let it run until the water runs completely clear. it will flush all the fines out so they won't cloud your tank.
