Quick question on shipping fish

I'm going to be ordering some fish offline and I was wondering when I drip acclimate could I mix their water into one container? So they would all be acclimating in the same container. I wanted to ask because I am worried that it could shock or be bad for the fish.

I have always done that and from my observations it looks like a lot of my local store do also. But I am no expert nor did I stay at a holiday Inn express last night
