Hello all, new member, first tank currently in week 2(yay black mollies).

I work swing shift, do I “need” to consider an auto feeder to keep things on a normal schedule? I’ve tried searching for this no luck.
And is a timer sufficient as far as lighting or should I really just start eying controllers?
Thanks in advance.

Welcome to R2R!

Consistency is your friend in this hobby. If you won’t be home to feed them when the lights are on, then yes you should get a feeder. A simple timer is all you need for your lights. You can always get more complicated later if your system needs more automation.

Thanks bud. Ordered an Eheim..will have to get creative with placement as I keep a cover on mine still.
