Quick question regarding standing water..

Hey guys so I bought a 5 gallon bucket of tank water from my LFS about a month ago, since then I have had a powerhead, bucket cover and a heater in it so it won't go stagnant. Am I still ok to use this water for a water change or should I just go get another bucket?
