Can anyone tell me why the last two times I have changed my Gfo and carbon my tank gets extremely cloudy as In a bacterial bloom?

Orp unchanged so I assume o2 consumption was fine. No bacterial bloom.

Fish fine.

But it worries me. I use brs rox carbon and there high grade Gfo

Did you rinse it off in salt water before you put it in the tank

It's twice as bad now

It does look like that , but everything is in check there is a sponge prior to it going back in the tank that would catch the Gfo. Flow isn't that strong. I will double check it tonight.

Well after a closer look at my reactor it looks as if when the it was kicked on the sponge tipped sideways allowing Gfo into my may display..... I'm so ******

But did it happen twice in a row?

I have rushed before and not rinsed and got gfo I. The water column but you could tell it was orange tinged cloudiness not like what your pic shows?

Something happened before and at first it seemed like this.....

But the last change prior to this one the tank became cloudy like a bacterial bloom.

This one after a day it was apparent it was Gfo all over my tank as it settled. :(

Last one I can't explain. Went away in a day or so. Used all the same product ect did change anything from my routine. This time was me rushing and messing up
