I just had this idea of keeping my co2 media moist for longer. This is my idea one side of the tube goes into container but isn’t under water the other goes to intake of the co2 scrubber here is a picture of it.

Does anyone think this will work?

How much water are you using? Seems like there is quite a bit of water in there. Its best to use a little bit of water. Only a couple tablespoons- maybe a sponge at the bottom to separate the media from the water. Also make sure it is air tight.

Yes this is a separate container I am using to extend the time between adding water to the scrubber

Yes But the Intake tube doesn’t go into the water they are just running air over water

You would need to monitor your PH and keep an eye on your media to confirm when it is exhausted. This should give you an idea if it works to extend the life of the media.

I’m not trying to extend media life I am trying to keep from adding water ever 2 days to the reactor
