Quick-swimming nighttime critters

Would appreciate your thoughts. I took a look at my tank with a flashlight in the dark, and saw a good number of small (1-2mm) whitish/translucent “bugs” flying around in the water column. Tried getting pictures or a vid, but they weren’t cooperatin

Haven’t seen anything like it during daytime lighting. I have some pods but they’re much smaller and don’t zip through the water like this.

The only paired livestock I have that these could belong to—that I know of at least—are some turbo snails, two trochus snails, and a number of hermits. I am wondering if it’s planktonic trochus larvae?

Wow, interesting. Went to Google to learn more. So basically disembodied swimming worm gonads. It really is like SpongeBob Squarepants in a reef aquarium.
