Quick Temperature Drops OK?

Hi, my temp was 80.5 today and so I threw a fan over the surface. To my surprise in a couple hours it's 77.7, fan is off now.

I used to put a fan on a six foot tank but it took at least 24 hours to drop temps that much. This reef is only 60 gallons. I do have one SC,OP(newest coral) that doesn't look happy, I'm hoping it wasn't the temp and now I made it worse by dropping it too fast.

That wouldnt be to much of a concern to me. You just dont want it bouncing up and down that much all the time you want a stable temp
