I just got the DCT, anyone know if the DCQ, DCP or DCS is quieter?

Its interesting, on the one I have, DCT, the lower i run it, the louder it gets.I think the trick is to buy oversize and run at low/lowest setting.
I am using a dcp3000 on a 14G tank, running from power level 30 (lowest)~35 depending on how close it is to cleaning time, and I literally can't hear anything even with my head in my stand.
Internally....its fairly quiet but still makes a hum....Are you running it externally or submerged, the big pump is submerged but I have a 4000 for my mixing station that is external it’s a little noisy
Ya maybe I need the DCPThe dcp and dcq have what they call "sine wave technology", which apparently makes the pump quieter. I haven't seen the box of the dct but i think its an older model line, maybe it doens't have that?
I'm going to try the DCPI have a dcp 8000 running for over three years. It is the quietest piece of equipment I own
