One of my favorite tanks from IM. I'm sure it will come out nice.

Drained the tank on Friday and got it ready to fill for today. Here are some pics of the process. Not 100% on the aquascaping yet but I'm sure i will change it a few more times

Super impressed with the numbers from my Aquaforest Reef Salt! Also i didn't believe it until I mixed up salt tonight that it mixes crystal clear in under 15 minutes. No residue at all. I have never had a salt do that!

Yeah the nanoboxes were made for this tank, so sleek looking.

Anyone have any good ways to clean the innovative marine filter socks? Im worried about breaking the black plastic in the washing machine. Any better ideas?

Nice setup Quinn. We have the same exact tank. Love the lagoon and you will too.

For the filter socks I spray them out with hot water in the laundry tub. Then let them sit overnight in a gallon or so of hot water with about an ounce of bleach added. Then the next day I rinse them thoroughly in hot water and let them completely dry for a couple days. Obviously having a couple sets maked this easier. I change mine with water every week.

I was wondering about the IM socks too. I would rather run them through the wash. Is the plastic substantial enough for the washing machine do you think?

I think they'd hold up in a gentle cycle waking machine on warm or cooler no problem. I'm just paranoid about any type of soap.
