R.E.E.F. Plate - Brightwell Aquatics falling apart

Did anyone else give these a try? My is falling apart and is soft to the touch. I actually tried to take it out and it broken into several pieces. Was it just me or, was there a problem with these? I already emailed Brightwell but, I'm not sure if they have a presence here.
