Some of you have seen the picture of my sister's dog Ruthie. If you look at our photo bucket (finsandfrags)there is a picture of her and Scooter. She lost Ruthie last week after 9 great years of friendship and loyalty. We lost her fish Scooter that same day.She will be missed and forever in our hearts as the Big scarey, but sweet&loving dog she was.So with this we say good bye to a friend forever.

It constantly amazes me that we can get so attached to our pets. I don't consider fish pets but dogs and cats are. I surprised myself when I shelled out $300 when our cat had a stroke. It's just a cat right? No, it's our cat, and we're not really convinced that she's merely a cat.

BTW, how's Willie (or as I heard Tammy say "William" when she was trying to get him to p in the yard)!

I'm sorry about your sisters loss Jason.

My pets are my family, even my fish. :)
I have my pets creamated and they each have a little memorial on my fireplace with their ashes.

Willie or William if you will is great. He has put on a little weight which is what the vet said we needed to do.So all in all he is fine.Just got done drilling the new tanks. It is going to be a large exspansion from what we had to what we have now.
