I've already joined the Razorback Reef group so I can get to know everyone when I make the move down there. I look forward to it so much. Our property is in rural Lead Hill, right off of Rte 14 and down Horseshoe Bend Road almost back to the Missouri border. One road in and one road out...if you don't belong there the neighbors know it. We have already made many good friends down there..we've owned the property for 5 years...if the housing market ever picks up and I can get this "city" house sold, I'm outta here. Our builder has been clearing our land and stacking cedar trees to dry...it is going to save us a bundle when we start building the log cabin. I hope to meet you when I get down there.
RUN ROBIN...RUN...way to go! Neon reef...I almost shot coffee out of my nose with that Flava Flav costume!!! lol

Love that fish! I am crazy for fishing too, but haven't been in 3 years because I live in the middle of the desert (Albuquerque). I am from Missouri--haven't ever been to Bull Shoals---do they have good crappie fishing there?

Not me. lol But I had to post this for all the AR fans here. This has graced my front yard for 15 years in all the locations that the military has sent us.
Btw, Pazzaz, you look fabulous! I lost a little weight last year and it was a hard and long journey for just a few pounds, let alone what you've acomplished.

anomie...OH MY...I really dig that pig. They have a wood carving contest at Eureka Springs every year and I was talking to one of the guys and after we get moved in, he is going to come out a do a huge large carving of a HOG!!! I am looking forward to that.
rackyrane...you have my sympathy...I have GOT to be around water...I could never survive in the desert...it is beautiful and all but I need to be by a lake or ocean...some kind of water. When we were clearing our property I was bundling up large pieces of brush and weighing them down with rocks and dropping them in under my dock. Last fall we were taking 16"+ crappie out of there. The kids were messing around and were even catching them on bare red hooks!!! Due to the flooding last spring and summer this coming year will be good, but next year is really going to rock. My buddy called me yesterday to hurry up and get my butt down there with a couple of pounds of leeches (it's a Yankee bait) but oh, those southern walleye aren't use to them and are complete suckers for them. We hit our limit in no time and then it's time for a good walleye fish fry....
Elan, I watch the fishing shows and Alaska seems like a great place to fish. Nothing wrong with that fish...what is it. Salmon, trout, maybe a char?

its a pink salmon, but that was when we were fishing the streams while my friends boat was getting ready. We take an 8 day boat trip through out the wilderness hitting them before they start to smell the fresh water (that is when they start to decay and dont taste as good). Its heaven, no other people just me my bro and two of my dads friends with the cpt and wife (who is my friends best bud) and some whales. We caught over 700lb FILETED (not fish, just their meat) to take home. Im still eating it.
