I like that it works great with 2 part and let's you know when to refill also let's you dose more critical things that need dosed very slowly
 
I love how effective the DOS machine is compared to the Japanese knockoffs are.

1. I would love to own a DOS and use it to try and automate my water changes. I know that water changes are good for a system but believe that it is harmful at the same time due to possibly shocking the coral, expesially sps, with such a radical water change. I think it would be so much better to do "daily" water changes. I would use my apex to program the DOS to do a daily 1 gallon water change. That way new water is always getting to my inhabitants, but not stressing them out. Stability is key I'm always told. I would probably hook the supplement containers up to a different doser and run them through my apex.

Having the integration with the Apex system gives you the opportunity to put intelligence in your dosing, not just a schedule. Plus the DDR containers are so much more attractive then a jug with a hole drilled through the cap.
 
I would really like to be able to add the DöS and DDR to my aquarium. I had been dealing with the hassle of manual dosing for years until I purchased a cheap dosing pump because money was tight. The pumps often fall out of calibration, lose their prime (usually when the containers run empty without my knowledge) or get air bubbles in the lines, resulting in inaccurate or incomplete doses. I have been dying to be afforded the ability to add the DöS to my tank for the accuracy and quality that the product ensures. The DDR takes it even further with the added safety of alerts when the containers are getting low and need refilling. I so badly want to add both of these great products to my aquarium, which will result in a healthier aquarium that's easier to maintain. Thanks R2R!!

Reason:

I would want a second dos unit to automate water changes, my buddy and I have been devising how to make a couple of nice discreet water change reservoirs outiside of the stand. I have been planning to save up for a ddr for my existing dos for esv 2 part.

The ability to perform precise dosing and control reactor run times are the reasons I have been wanting this addition to my Apex Gold.

1. Since I am a fireman I am gone for 48 hours every week so I bought the apex gold to be able to monitor my little 28 gallon tank while I am away. I love the apex and everything it can and will do. I am in the process of upgrading to a 120 gallon tank and this doser would be just the ticket to go with it. I am also going to buy the WAV circ pumps because I really like the controllability I get with Neptune.

In process of upgrading to a DB 57 Rimless and have an Apex and this would be awesome for me to add to the new set up wether for dosing or water change.

You finally sucked me into to one of the contests Rev. I have been like a little kid wanting this doser as a Christmas present. Hopefully Christmas comes early. Thanks to Twillard (Todd) on this forum, I am using a used Hospira IV pump for dosing. It works great but lacks the long term programming capabilities. I will actually miss using it. My family thinks i am prepping for the zombie apocalypse with the IV machine and hoses sitting in the living room. If I don't win, I'll have to build a cabinet to hide the IV pump I guess. Next I guess I will have to build a tank thread. Thanks again for bringing all of these product contests.

I liked the FB page. The initials of my Facebook page are TZ. I would really like the Neptune DOS & DDR because I'm out of town often and I'm married with 3 kids. They love to look at the tank. This would make it lot easier to dose 2 part than using a timed toms aqualifter pump.

I would love the dos and ddr to replace my current marinemagic doser. I would love the integration into my apex so I an see data and have control. Controoooooolllll!!!! muahahah! My build thread is in my signature :D
