I'd like to see R2R contributors acknowledged. Folks here have really helped me survive my first year and a half of reefing without throwing in the towel at yet another problem.

Best beginner adviser
Best sticky (not sure how to put this - a post that has the basic information about a particular topic)

If you want this to have any meaning, you will need to include and give awards to the entire world with the only focus being on the best product, not just people who advertise with you. This can get tricky.

Best Vendor Interaction with the R2R Community - best presence here and always engaging with the membership to answer questions and resolve problems.

I like this. It's nice to see vendors interacting with members.

100% agree this should be a definite addition, perhaps top 3. I see this as very important.

Reefer of the Year should probably be one. I like the product awards too... things like:
-Best new product
-best customer service
-Best Buy (under $20, 20-50, 50-100, 100+) (Including smaller price categories is a biggie. We all get super hyped about new lights, new skimmers, new pumps, etc... but there's a lot of incredibly cool little gadgets and gizmos that get overlooked. Speaking of, did anyone else see the new coral glue gun that maxspect is releasing??)
-Best customer relations (active on forums, talking with customers, etc...)
-Best new species (cause we get a few good new ones every year)
-Best new Named Pieces(you can break down to varieties)
-Best Actor in a Supporting Role
-Best Blog
-Best Podcast
-Best "best-of" List
-Best Scientific Article (for those of us that are legit nerds)
-Best Photo
-and of course "Best tank!"
