I can personally say in my opinion R2R is the Nicest, less judging, non critisizing forum there is. I have tried many many forums for all of my pets (dogs, ball pythons, salt water fish and coral). Out of all the forums i have came across Reef2Reef is the most caring. I havent gotten critisised on here for my silly questions...or random post.. Everyone is nice and respectful. They dont judge if you dont know anything about the new fish you just bought....

For example.

I adopted a ball python, the owner couldnt have him and needed to rehome him. So i took him in. I knew nothing about this morph of python. So i did what any rational person would do...i researched. When my research came up empty handed i reached out to a ball python morph forum... My question was along the lines of what anyone would ask on here... What kind of snake is it? Instantly i was bashed with rude comments like "why would anyone in their right mind purchase an expensive animal without knowing anything on it". "Why would u take a snake when u know nothing on them". Ect.. The comments kept coming. It was like they were feeding off eachothers negative energy.. I have had many ball pythons... I know how to handle them and take care of them and breed them.. I just dont know how to identify a morph... ( a certian color and pattern variation) ...

Im happy and very thankful for Reef2Reef... Its supportive...helpful...addictive...the sponsors are great.. Everything is spot on.

I guess i just wanted to let Reef2Reef know how greatful i am to have such a helping community.

THANK YOU SOOOO MUCH Reef2Reef!!!

Just for laughs heres a pic of the snake that caused this whole rant and the realisation of niceness and meanness

That is a beautiful banana spider ball python! (I think I'm right)
Edit: Nope, I think it's just a banana ball python. Usually they have little black spots all over them though. It may be a couple different morphs.

Umm.. that is a snake. (I know I'm right) :p

Edit: I can tell it is a snake with or without little black spots. ;)

I can second that. I’m extremely new here, and the only reason I created an account and started asking questions is because I knew from stalking this place for over a month that everyone was super nice/helpful and not judgemental.

I was already excited to start my build soon. But now it’s even more exciting knowing I’ll be able to share with friendly people who will nudge me in the right direction.

Yes, the people here on Reef2Reef are amazing. I have yet to find the morph. Im thinking in the lines of a vanilla hypo ghost...or a banana mixed with a vanilla and ghost. Hes crazy cool. He eats fine.. Snake forums are just mean people i guess..

Sorry if i scared anyone with the snake pic :) lol

Reef2Reef is deff the spot you wanna join if you are a fellow reefer or soon to be one.. Or if saltwater is your thing :)

Without knowing direct lineage I can't say for certain (Peter Kahl fan myself) but with so many morphs now it might be easier to ID a zoa!;Hilarious
What is your opinion of Brian Barczyk from BHB?

I don't have any experience with him to be honest. Been out of the game a long time. My last show is when I met the breeder for the motley and super motley boas. I preferred boas but I dabbled in ball pythons as well.

Seeee you guys are soooooo nice!!!!!! Thank you guys and gals!!!!

Thank you for the kind comments! :) Beautiful snake as well.

Also are you planning to come to the Florida Frag Swap in Lakeland Feb 3rd? You should! R2R will be there! :)

Brazilian Rainbow Boa has to be hands down my favorite boa :)

Snow boa is mine. Took me years to breed some. My favorite ball python I owned was a lesser pastel. Very simple but striking contrast of darks and yellows. So many possibilities with that morph and the snake was so docile.

+1 on banana. looks like it may have some ghost in it as well.
