He guys hope you all are doing good.i am new to hobby thats why looking for help from you guys.i adopt a rabbit fish like 3 weeks ago .in the start he was doing ver good but since yesterday i noticed that he looses his color and beauty and sitting on the corner of tank or coming all the way upper part of tank.someone told me that he is in stress but i am not sure what i am doing wrong my water is good and sump skimmer and everything is working.i turned on my lights like 10h a day but now turning on only 6 hours

Is he eating? He is extremely thin and doesn't look very well. I hate to say it but it may be too far gone at this point. It also looks like he may have some ammonia burn on him. How old is your tank and what are your parameter. @Humblefish and @melypr1985 may be able to help more than me.

He is not eating good but my other fishes are eating good.i started a new tank but my rocks and water are cycle from my old tank

Rabbitfish do get splotchy sometimes, but I don't think what we're seeing in those pics is normal. He also looks very skinny to me; you shouldn't be able to see the vertebrae like that. Ever see any stringy white poop coming out of this fish? Any white dots on the skin? Any rubbing on the sand or rocks?

I agree. He looks very emaciated. Humble asked about several symptoms the fish my have been displaying, even if he isn't at the moment but was recently. Let us know any and all symptoms he has shown. I hope we can help in time.

That fish eats algae of which you appear to have zero. It may also have worms. It looks to be knocking on death's door. The best thing you could do for it is get some seaweed, romaine, etc in the tank to entice it to eat.

Yeah his condition was very bad thats why i gave it to my uncle and just talk to him and he is saying that he is eating now and will be good again soon, but thanks Alot guys for helping me out with your suggestions

I have one more quick question,i already setup a refugium and ordered some chaeto algae for refugium, its like 1oz,so is that enough for starting refugium ?

If you have enough nutrients for it and a proper light, it will grow in no time.
