rabbit fish + which tang or tangs

I am going to get either a rabbitfish or foxface and one or two tangs. My tank is big enough for most tangs but I'd rather stick to fish that max out at 10" in the wild.

Tang recommendations would be appreciated.

I have a Magnificent Foxface and Tomingi Tang great combo keeps algae at bay. Im running a mixed tank but mostly SPS. I dont have any acans, torches or LPS so not sure how the foxface would do if you had those corals. Def get a Bristlre tooth tang though.

We love our foxface and he/she has not touched any corals (although it is possible for some I might guess).

We had a yellow-eyed kole tank (lost due to bacterial infection), and loved that fish too. Not extremely flashy, but typically hearty compared to what we've heard of powder blue tangs etc.

Two tangs ? Two is the worst number for fish types that may fight. It's one or enough to make fighting pointless. And yes people get away with stuff all the time. That doesn't mean you will or will not , however the possibility needs the addition of a plan B

My one spot foxface and purple tang are buds. They swim together constantly and hardly ever apart. The foxface is an algae destroyer definitely worth it.

Foxface , purple and blue yellow belly tang and are all great together .
I’ve never heard of a foxface eating corals

Foxface have a unique relationship with yellow tangs. They spend most of the together. At times it looks like they are gently rubbing on each other. You can do a Google search to see some videos about their relationship. I know yellow tangs are not that interesting, but the relationship is pretty cool.

Ive has a Tomini Tang for 6-7 years and I added a small Foxface a few months ago. They have been getting along great, hopefully that continues.

Fox Face will get a little large for a 108 gal tank. IMO.
I would get a Yellow or/and Purple and one of the Yellow eye Kole tang.

I have a foxface along with my purple, Thompson’s, hippo, lavender and orange stripe bristletooth. The lavender is the alpha of the bunch, but even he knows better than to mess with the foxface. If anyone tries to mess with my foxface, it drops its head, and points its dorsal spines forward. Like, “go ahead. Try it. You want some of these?”
