Radio G4 pro view mode

I just bought 3 Radion G4 pros. 1 dead right out of the box. called ecotech and they sent out a replacement. I then set up the programing. has anybody tried setting the View Mode on the iPhone app? everytime I make my settings and brightness level, then try to save, it tells me it has saved the new settings but when I try to reopen View Mode, the brightness goes to 0, and all my color settings are gone. I called ecotech about this and they told me, "yeah it does the same thing on ours as well". "our programers have been told and say they are going to fix, look for an update" that was a couple of weeks ago. anybody else having this issue? since when?

I wonder if there is a way for us to set the View Mode settings while in the Eco Smart Live program on our mac pro desktop. or any other work around anybody has figured out. This was one of the main reasons I spent the money for these lights, I wanted to be able to show people my corals fluorescing whenever I wanted instead of the first of last hour.

how about people on android phones or tablets? anybody.... I would buy a dedicated android tablet to use if it would be an actual work around for this view mode. again, it's one of the main reasons I went with Radions, so that I can switch to a view which I can show off my corals and make them pop when I have visitors, and not only for 2 hours at night.

I just set mine up on my iPhone. From the home screen, select the gear icon next to view mode. Toggle for "Enable view mode." Set your colors, pump speeds and duration. Once done, save the changes. After that is done, you should be able to just select view mode from the home screen and have it change.

If you want to exit view mode, select the little calendar icon next to the feed mode button and it will return everything to your scheduled programming.

In my opinion, view mode is more for making photography easier than it is for people to see it in person.

so when I go through all the set up just like you have listed, then the very next time I try it, it goes to 0% brightness and all the settings are back to the original settings. no matter how many times I try it, it does the same thing. I even signed out,uninstalled the program and reinstalled it. nothing same result. at least when I try it on my iPhone. I don't have an android to try it on.

yes, over and over again. I must have done this a hundred times by now.

it really works on yours? did you try opening it again to see if the settings actually get saved?

It is working fine for mine. It took maybe two minutes for me to set it up, and it is still working as programmed when I select view mode. I'd probably step away from it for a couple days, then come back to it with a fresh perspective.

Yeah I know what you are talking about. It’s the ecosmart app. Mine doesn’t work either. I quit trying as it appears they will not fix it anytime soon.
