Radion 15% sale Question

The radions are on sale for 15% off and the sale ends tomorrow. I don’t need the light anytime soon but should I purchase it now? Or do these lights usually have similar sales on the big sale days like Black Friday?

Gen6 is starting to hit the market now. They have not advertised yet but it is arriving at some locations. If you want the newer model coming out you might want to wait

Any clue how much the XR15s gonna be? Will the gen 5 price go down? Or just he discontinued? Maybe I should wait then.

I can't say I would know. I just have friends at an LFS who said they got a delivery yesterday and were surprised themselves. Maybe it's for beta testing, but it means G6 might be close

the old is usually discontinued. The G6 may be same price as G5 retail or may be higher.

According to the mobius app... it sounds like G5 can be upgraded to G6 with a new led cluster. There probably isn't a huge difference between the lights.

So I guess would you rather play full price for G6 or get G5 15% off is the question.

By the time Black Friday rolls around the only G5s available may be the ones the odd retailer has in-stock. And it's anyone's guess what if anything might be offered on Black Friday - the last EcoTech Black Friday sale was pretty lackluster.

If you want a G5 for 15% off, you better get it now. Assuming the G6 is on the Black Friday sale, it will likely be 10% off. And we all know Ecotech is going to take this opportunity to raise prices $30-50 per fixture

usually just 10% - you may get 15% or such again when they actually for real discontinue it. A 15% discount is unusual.

Doesn't seem like that is the case if you can upgrade the leds? Would make me think the housing is the same size.

I believe the price has increased two times in the last year maybe more, if you wait for black friday the price may increase again by then. I'd say get it now.

the sale could very well be to get reduce stock of the G5 before the G6 comes out soon. We could also see a new Apex since it is also 15% off, which is unusual.

If I recall correctly only the xr30 was discounted for black friday this past year. The discount was 10%. Who knows could be getting rid of Gen 5s to release G6s. although it seems rather soon especially with the way manufacturing and microchip shortages have effected product lines recently.

i mean if the g6 is 10% off I might as well go with that no? Im in no rush just wondering if the radions get discounted ever. I was told that 10% is the usual. Maybe G6 at 10% is better than G5 at 15%. A little more money to get the new fixture.

Since it is new, it may not get discounted at all for awhile. New releases can be like that. It will eventually get discounted but it may be a higher price so say it cost 15% more but 10% off... as prices have been increased a few times already.

No one can know.

I would say you can wait and pay an unknown amount or get 15% off g5. Thats about all anyone can know!
