Ran a search and couldnt come up with anything. Just picked up a Radion gen 3 pro. I do NOT have reef link. I have a chrome book and would like to use it with a USB connection. However, I cannot find a connection manager download for chromebook operating system. Just curious if there are any work arounds. I can buy a reeflink worse case scenario. Trying to save a buck. Thanks for help

Only works on Mac or PC. I asked them and confirmed

Hello,

Sorry I am of no help but kinda why I don’t buy radions etc. However, I’m not great at computers so pretend I’m four years old. Since your using a usb don’t you need a specific driver to run that usb? Once that is loaded, the app will only work on certain platforms aka iOS or windows or Linux etc. Ecotech may not have an app system setup to use with chrome book since chrome is its own operating system.
However I would check and see if reeflink will even work and or load with chrome because again it’s a different operating system and needs a specific driver. I’m certain others could take this way deeper etc and they may actually know a work around, but sadly I do not. But wish you luck.

Sincerely
Sarah

Thanks for the quick replies. Looks like reeflink it is. I could at least use ipad or iphone with link system.

Wound up using old hp windows laptop with USB and had coral lab AB+ schedule setup in less than 5 minutes. I couldn't pull the trigger on the reeflink after reading the reviews and Im glad I didnt. I know I cant sync my radion and MP, but ill make do. Super easy to hardwire to the radion. WAYYYYY better than my reeftech Poseidon . Thanks for your help. Great forum here.

I just got some Radion XR30 G4 pro's I tried using the usb cable didn't like having to hook up the usb cable every time I wanted to change the lighting, I bought the reeflink mine work's great and you can use your cell phone.
