Hi,

New to the forum and wondered if anyone had experience with repairing the plastic of radion lights. I recently received a pre-loved radion xr30 gen 2 and the corner of the top plastic plate got broken off in transit.
I contacted ecotech for some direction on what type of plastic glue they would recommend for the repair and they suggested to replace it or use "plastic glue" so I did really feel any wiser.

I know super glue will leave a horrible white haze on the piano black finish not sure which one to buy.

Hopeful this post will generate some ideas, sorry if this has been discussed before, I couldn't find anything when I searched.

I have added a photo of the damage.

Many thanks

Welcome to R2R!
Sorry about the damage to your light. What about a 2 part plastic epoxy?
I agree superglue can sometimes leave that white haze and it looks bad.
Also what about simply living the chipped piece off? Doesn't appear to be a large piece. Might just be better to leave it and let the light do its job :)

Small spot of superglue. It’s the top of the light. No idea how you’d even see it. Turn light around so that is the back side, if that bothers you

Thanks for the help guys, I have found a plastic safe super glue and will use that!
