i just upgraded my lighting to Radion G3 Pro..

i am currently using occean revive lights and sps are doing well under them .. the main reason why i upgraded my lights to radion is because my rainbow chalices are becoming pale and bleached..

now i do understand that it may be because of the too much lighting that my occean revive lights are putting out .. but i was hoping id see them more beautiful and colorful under Radions ...

so question . how exactly are the radions very different from other lights ( i have heard ppl praising them too much :) and im about to find out what its all about)

and ppl who are big into chalices ( and more importantly those rainbows) what settings do you keep your g3 pros at ? and for how long ? any pics of those beautiful chalices ?

I doubt they would be substantially different. You can go into eco smart live and select the "live demo" option and play with the channels until you find a preferred temp. As for bleaching LPS, that is usually too much light. Radion are known for high par; may want to consider low power with relatively long acclimation to start. I would let the chalice heal on the old lights at a reduced setting or in a partly shaded area before messing with the Radions.

I have not had a chance to checkout the Ocean Revive lights, but I do have Radions, and the first big difference between the two that I know about is the programing that comes with the Radions. To me that is one of the reasons I switch my main tank over to all Radions.
As far as your chalice's, they need to be in lower light, no matter what type of light they are under.
I've bleached different chalices under T5's.
