Radion G3 board battery/ capacitor replacement

My Radions G3 (so a bit old) loose their programmed memory if their power goes off for too long.
Has anyone changed the capacitors in these to let them hold onto their programmed memories longer?

I would think you could email ecotech and get an answer. They may even offer to fix the issue or supply the parts to fix it if you feel capable with a soldering iron to diy it yourself!
