Radion G3 pro to WXM issues

Hey all, I am trying to get my used radion xr30 gen 3 pro to connect to my WXM. I am not the most savvy with my apex yet and this is the first radion I am trying to set up. I already have two MP-40's linked to the WXM but cannot figure out how to link my radion. I cant find how to reset my radion to factory settings or if thats even needed.

Have you read Neptune’s WXM guide? It’s written for the Apex Classic, but most of it is still relevant if you have the newer Apex.

OK, you can connect a USB Cable to the Radion, and then plug into Computer.
Download the Connection Manger from EccoTech Live and connect. From there do a Factory Reset and Firmware Update. After that go into the WXM Settings and check Attach and Click Orange Button to Save.
New Buttons should pop up with your lights....

Got to the Connection manager. Tried to install it and it said I needed to install java. I clicked the more info that was going to take me to install it and my mac says it cannot be installed because My mac already has a newer version of java.

Have you read Neptune’s WXM guide? It’s written for the Apex Classic, but most of it is still relevant if you have the newer Apex.

read it and read it and it doesnt help at all since it addresses an RF? update and not really anything I see in fusion

I know you can also Reset with a ReefLink, but you don't have that. I'm not sure what's going on with the Java. Maybe Eccotech can help you along with that. It's their software.

I just downloaded the software to test it, just like you did. There's a newer version of Java on our Mac's. It won't take a legacy version. This is an issue with Eccotech not being up to date with Java and there Connection Manager. This worked going back a year or 2. EccoTech's Connection Manager Software is super old.

Only thing I can think of to get the Radion Reset would be to Borrow or Buy a ReefLink, connect it and reset it.
I personally use both. I have a WXM and the ReefLink. I have all 7 of my Vortech's on the WXM, and have my 5 Radion Fixtures on ReefLink. I like having the option of having both, just in case the WXM Module ever craps out, I have the Reeflink and could quickly control the Vortechs and or lights.

The WXM does have a Limitation of 10 Devices... Food for thought...

Hey, I'm honestly not sure how but they managed to connect. I just reset the WXM and did some other things and in the middle it just showed up. IDK but I've got them to connect and have adjusted them now.

Honestly I never saw a radion reset, or anything. It stopped even showing my vortechs connected and then they all were connected when I went to the dashboard
