Radion G4 (non pro)

Anyone using the regular Radions G4 non pro version? I am thinking of purchasing them but the pro price is like daaaaaaaaang when you look at it. If you have the G4 non pro, my question is this:

1.) Can one have the same success with non pro as with the pros?
2.) Can you post pics of your tank running non pros?
3.) if you got Pros for sale that are in great condition PM me

People have success with black boxes I don’t think the pros will be that much better. I am runnjng the xr15 pro but not sure if there’s a regular ones for the 15.

I am using a G4 non pro on my frag tank. I have G4 pro on my display. I don't see any difference in my corals coloration. Maybe growth is faster in my display but I am also supplementing the display with T5s. Frag tank is just G4 nonpro.

Yeah I think I will go with a non pro and supplement down the line. I had some Hydra 52 HD and i was supplementing so non HD here i come.

Yeah I run the SPS AB+ now

I got 4 xr15 pro G4 few months back for $250 each. Came with rms mounts and reeflink. I just want to see if there’s another for my next small build.

I'm running one G4 non-pro on my 65g. Even with the non-pro, I'm still only running 65% intensity on a tank that is 24" deep with the light 12" above the waterline. On top of that, I'm also running the Ecotech diffuser on the light as well. I do run a Orphek actinic light bar in addition, but I only have it on during ramp up and ramp down to pop blues a little more. During the majority of the day and in my FTS picture, that is just the Radion G4 running.

LFS has 8 non pros over their coral tanks, they look really good as do the corals. On a newer sytem for sps they have pros over it and again corals look good amd I cant tell the difference.
