Not according to Red Sea's website. 450 and 525 are both 150cm wide but the XL is 7.5cm deeper.

he new REEFER™ XL 425 and REEFER™ XL 525 models are both 7.5cm/3″ WIDER than the regular REEFER™ 350 & 450, enabling you to create substantial aquascaping while still providing plenty of water volume and space for your aquarium inhabitants. Both also feature proportionately larger sumps with an extra 3cm / 1.2″ water height in the skimmer chamber

Then go look at the dimensions.

I emailed ecotech last week about a 60x60x24 tank and they said that two G4 XR30's will be sufficient and that they would recommend the pro for a sps heavy tank. With that said you could always get 2 XR30's then add a 15 or another 30 if necessary.
Im currently having a hard time on what to get myself. I'm debating between radions+ retrofit T-5 or going with a giesemann aurora or genesis. If i retrofit T-5's i can add those to my current lights and wait on replacing the LED's.

If you have a hood on your tank I would do the retrofit T5's That way you get the best of both worlds.

So you think retrofit + radions would be better than the giessemann hybrid t-5 + LED systems (aurora or upcoming hybrid genesis lights)?

I like the Giesemann t5 led a lot.
I think t5 and led gives you complete coverage of light
