Radion G5: Mobius template help

Hello!

The Mobius template for AB+ sets all channels to 100%. Shouldn’t AB+ be UV, B, RG at 100% and W, G, R at 24%?

Am I missing something?

Did you get the Radion Blue? I think that one is intended to be ran all channels at 100% for ab+. I believe thats the point of the fixture. What do you think about the fixture? I'm still debating pro vs blue for my upcoming build

Hmm, I guess that would make sense why the template is setting all channels to 100%. Thats a bit confusing to me though as AB+ is not documented that way anywhere I can find.

The fixture is great. However, the fan is loud and runs often. And the Mobius app seems like it was rushed and unfinished.

Yeah i've heard both of those complaints about them. Theres definitely a few things it looks like they could have improved on it. The spread and spectrum looks like its amazing though. How do you like the look of the spectrum?

The original AB+ template documentation was created using the generation 3 XR30 pros. It was less of a general power goal and more of a spectral composition intended to mimic a 4:1 ratio of ATI
Blue+ to ATI AB Special. Spectrally it isn’t exact but it’s reasonably close. You can get reasonably close with other light fixtures with a comparable ratios of power supplied to each different colored diode.

Enter the generation 5 XR30 Blue. It is not appropriate to run the 100/25 ratios of blues to others. They put enough blue and violet diodes in the fixture enabling you to run all channels at max and still achieve a similar spectral characteristic. In short, they put less white and red diodes in the xr30 blues so you can run them higher and still achieve the same effect.

Basically allowing you to take FULL advantage of the luminaire’s power potential, rather than achieving the desired spectrum at the expense of power and par. You can get that same look with a lot more juice behind it
