Radion G5 on Apex

Hi guys, i know that the G5 and new Vortech are not compatible with the WMX due to de mobius upgrade.
What if I swap the module to the older one in the case of the G5. Woult it work?
This question keeps ringing on my head because i want to still have al integrated on my Apex wich i love.

I think if you tried the Mobius, you would love it more than using the Apex. You can still use the apex (by plugging the G5 in to the EB) - to turn the lights off and on. But lets face it, besides occasional coral acclimation, etc, isn't the best thing to keep lighting, etc 'stable'. But to answer your question what module are you talking about switching to the 'old one' (the 'old' what). PS - my guess is that if you could get what you want to work, it may be unstable?

Only the Radion G4 and older models are WXM compatible and need to be downgraded if used with Mobius. The G5 is not compatible with the WXM at all, and that’s the reason the WXM has been discontinued.

I know, thats why i was wondering the posibility to downgrade.
I would like to try it, buy i wont buy a G5 just for that LOL
