I have seen these videos but they have not been able to clarify my doubts ... they have not made a video with xr15 but only with xr 30 and they indicate that you need 3xr 30 for a full sps of that size but I think it is really excessive ..BRS has a really helpful video on the new lights. They cover the PAR, spacing, and how many you may need. It definitely helped me decide on which light was right for my tank. Check it out and good luck!
No kidding, this app so far has been garbage for me at least.I'm not a fan of the Mobius App yet. I liked the ReefLink better. Hopefully they come out with a PC version. With the Bluetooth mobile App I'm assuming you have to be in range to make any changes.
but for example between the use of 2 xr30 and 4 xr15, with the 4 xr15 I have no greater light distribution than the xr30?Supposedly, mobius allows for dynamic control of the fans in the XR30 Gen5 models. This resolves one of my major gripes with the Gen4 XR30. I had previously preferred XR15s, but if this fan control is correct, I probably go back to preferring the XR30 (half as many cords, power bricks and hanging kits). I have been told this fan control will also extend to the Gen4 once they become compatible with mobius. Unfortunately all of mine will require card replacement, so I'll have to figure out how much I'm willing to pay for a quieter tank LOL.

Yes that is the point of using more small lights....you get to choose where you distribute the light/lights.but for example between the use of 2 xr30 and 4 xr15, with the 4 xr15 I have no greater light distribution than the xr30?
