RADION G5 VS KESSIL AP9x

Hey everyone just need help with the two since I’ve only had the kessil ap9x on my tank from the start , but keep hearing all the good stuff about radions.
What are your experiences with growth and colorations ?
Which do you have?
Is your tank mostly lps or sps even mix?

I would look at ATI powermodule. You wont get any better coverage and one powercord. Service and parts are tried and reliable. Most people if not all would be better served with a play and play lighting to just tune in a bit.

ATI is only company treating LEDS as sum of parts even if this not standardized. They have ballast, heat sink, reflector, and LED puck as replacement parts much like old halides. Most others are disposable after 5 years.

I never was overly impresed from Radion growth coming from halids t5's.

I was never impressed with led growth in general. I just went back to halides/t5s. However the radion lets you play more it seems.

Hi Randy. I’m running 2 Radion xr30s G5 over my 90 gallon aquarium. Previously had Hydra HDs. Never had a Kessil.

Found the best private coral sellers in my area. Inspected their aquarium setups very closely. Large Majority of these private coral sellers had Radions. That’s why I switched from Hydra HDs and now running Radions on my mixed reef.
