I'm setting up a 100 gallon rimless . I'm have to radion gen 2 that I'm using. I can't hang them with the standard hanging kit. The ceiling is way to high. I need something to hang on the tank. Any suggestions out there?

Not sure if I already answered your question ( somewhere else) with my solution, but here goes.
Hanging a single Radion over my 50 gallon tank, using 2" x 3/8" and 1" x 1/8" aluminum flat bar.

Then I have 3 Radions over my 240.
I used a product called eztube.
Product Catalog - Parts, Components, Accessories, Order | EZ Tube - International Designs
I used the 1" aluminum that is powder coated black.
Very easy to work with.

Thanks. I like that easy tube product. I'm doing two radion. Did you have to assemble yourself ? If so how did you attach the tube?

Yes, I did it myself. It was so simple. Tinker toys for big boys was a expression that has been used.
The catalog has a section for the connectors.
You need corner connectors, tee connectors, and end caps, which are on a different page from the connectors.
You cut the tubing to length, using a hack saw, ( get a file for cleaning up the cut edges ) and just insert the connectors. I bought a rubber/plastic mallet for this. You can use a regular hammer and a block of wood to keep from making dents or marks on the tubing.
Be VERY sure of your measurements, it is near impossible to remove the connectors once they are in the tubing.

Here is another idea. Bend metal conduits you can get at home depot. Paint it and put it against the wall using some simple wood molding. I did this for my ATI Powermodule since I had high ceilings as well. I have since switched to Ecotech Radions. Same concept applies.

Awesome. Thanks. I'm gonna give it a shot

What is the plan?
Does your tank have a euro brace top?
Where is the light hanger going to rest on?

On my rimless 50, I had to make something that would bolt onto the back of the stand. ( 2" x 3/8" flat bar)

Do you have a picture of the brace. I do not have a euro fit
