Radion keeps turning off after 5 minutes.

Hey guys, I just put a radion pro on my tank but the LED's won't stay on. I would program it and it will lite up the way i want it, but 5 minutes after i click program aquarium it will turn off. The buttons on the top of the radion stay lit (Blue). The fan is still spinning and both the radion and the big white transformer is cool to the touch. My software is up to date. Can anyone help me?

@recess62 Im using my MacBook air and wiring it to the radion. Im not using a reef link.

They do reboot. They turn off, then ramp up quickly. After about 5 minutes of being on they shut off.

It is currently connected to my computer and the light is off.

This happened to me when I first bought my Radions. They gave me in the box the wrong power adapter. It was a power adapter to an vortech MP 40. Check the power adapter

The schedule looks fine. He said the fans are turning and the control panel on the lights are illuminated

I did buy another AC power adapter that goes from the outlet to the big white block. What's the difference? Did you get an ecotech one and it worked?

It's different wattage. So my Radion kept shutting off. But your fans still work right?

Yes the fan still works and the buttons are still on. What did you do to fix all this?

I think my problem was different. my lights would shut off. Echo tech sent me another power adapter and then they were fine

I tried setting my Radion light with my MacBook Pro also,and I wasn't able to for some reason so I bought a reef link and never had a problem again
