Radion light power adapter burnt

I got a generic amazon power adapter for my XR15 G4 just died on me. Really don’t want to spend $80 for a factory one lol.

It last less than a year but it was less than 20 bucks. Did any member here has it last longer and should I give it another try or there’s something I can get in between?

Who can answer this? The one that burnt was a 4a, wonder if 5a works better and last longer

The cost of the power supply will be well worth it from the original manufacturer. Running the wrong amount of AMPs can damage the light or cause the burn that you experienced and potentially a fire. The light was way more than the 80 so just break down and do it.
