Please help. I had three Radions on the same schedule — one stopped working. I replaced it. As you can see in first picture the third Radion is grayed out. When I click on it, it is still grayed out. It says it is programmed but it is not. This is through the reef link. I tried Mobius but it will not find it even through it is G4 Pro (which should be recognizable).

What do I need to do to get Reef link or Mobius to recognize it so I can program it. Thanks in advance.

While I have not had this problem, anytime I do have problems with any of my equipment and the app I just perform a hard reset on the equipment and completely remove the light from the app. then redo the setup like you just bought the light.

Radion: Factory Reset via Buttons
  1. Press and hold the center button until all buttons flash red, white and blue then release.
  2. Press and hold all 3 buttons until the buttons flash red and purple then release.
  3. Press and hold the outer 2 buttons until the Radion resets then release.

If that does not work then contact Ecotec and they will help you out

And make sure you don't have "band steering" enabled in your router. The purpose of band steering is to combine the 2.4ghz and the 5ghz wifi bands and create one wifi broadcast name.

If you turn it off, you'll have "yourwifi_2.4ghz" and "yourwifi_5ghz" when you are trying to connect to your wireless. Most all reefing equipment used the 2.4ghz band and cannot use the 5ghz band.

How do I do that? To split it, do I contact ATandT?

Ok. But I don’t know how to program my router. Sounds beyond my capabilities. But I do think that is what is wrong.

Maybe give them a call and tell them that you need your 2.4ghz to be by itself and have a wifi name so you can identify it.

If your seeing other lights it's probaby not your router settings.
I just ran into this last week. I upgraded 2 gen 4 xr15 to mobius to try the app out for the 3rd time. Hated it just as much as the first 2 times. When I down graded them to go back my reef link would only see one. I didn't really figure it out but after multiple attempts resetting the light and exiting ESL and repeating the search for devices via wifi it just appeared in ESL and let me add it. I haven't done it but there was an option to add it via usb as well.

Another possibility is that your network had assigned an IP address to the one Radion and it is cached. So it's still looking for that MAC address and it is finding the same name as the old one and is blocked.

I know that's all Greek to you, but you can probably restart your internet and it will work out.

Open a web browser and go to http://192.168.1.1 or type 192.168.1.1 into the browser's URL bar.
  1. A login page will appear asking you to enter the login username and password.
  2. Enter the username and password in the designated fields.
  3. You will now be logged in into the Admin Panel of the router.
This is how you access your router and program it
