Radion Power cord extension

I’m in the process of installing a aquatic life hybrid 61” fixture. Using four Radion XR30’s.

I’m thinking of running all the power cables up the wire hanger into the attic and back down an adjacent wall to an Adaptive reef cabinet.

Using ecotech’s power extensions it would cost an absurd amount of money. Is there a workaround at jameco or wherever?

these are probably standard size barrel connectors, you'll have to measure them (outside diameter and inside diameter) these are metric. probably around 5-6 m.m. o.d. and from 2-2.5 m.m i.d. very easy to find when you know the right size to get. id get some larger around 12 ga or larger wire for the longer run you plan on doing.

this is likely what you need for a connector.

Has anyone figured out a generic extension instead of the $60 Ecotech ones?

There are a ton of 2.1mmx5.5mm barrel jack extenders all over Amazon. Some may actually contain copper!

I can't offer specific guidance but its worth a try.
