So I keep reading that if you want to run the AB+ schedule then you’ll want the Blue version. Is the Pro capable of running the pre-programmed AB+ schedule too?
I am a bit leery of the Blue being too blue, so I was leaning toward the Pro. But I want to run AB+ as well.

If your running the ab+ might as well get the blue, using more available power. Anything other than ab+ go with the pro

Thanks! Will two Blues on a 4x2x2 120 gallon be enough for a mixed reef?

mare we talking XR15’s or 30’s? SPS? I ran 4 XR 15’s over the same size 120. Better overall coverage than 2 30’s IMO. You can get away with less depending on what you mean by mixed reef.

XR15s. Mixed meaning SPS in upper 1/3. LPS and softies lower 2/3.

All depending on your aqua scape you could get away with 3, 2 is just too much shadowing. 4 I think is a perfect mix and covers shadowing. I would watch BRS video on it, I find it’s spot on. I’m not sure what kind of budget you’re working with but check out the stratons.

You can still run ab+ on the pros. The program is just mostly blue light. So if that’s what you want to run you’ll get more par from the radion blue because they have more blue LEDs

That said I have the pros and rub ab+ with whites turned up a bit too. I don’t like only blue light but that’s just my preference visually. I like midday to look a bit more white, similar to T5s but a bit more blue

IMHO 3 x XR15 PRO at least for my 4x2x2. Wanted the BLUE initially, but I also wanted 6 hours of white noon look over full 10 hours of AB+. White for growth, Blue for coloration, I gathered.

I got Pros because I wanted to have more white light rather then deep blue tank. My understanding the difference between them is some of the Pro white led are Blue led on the Blue edition.

In my experience AB+ on the blues looks whiter than many people run their tanks. I would try to see them in person

I run 3 blues and 2 pros over my 525xl... They're both on AB+ schedule. The defautl schedule *is* Ab+, it's just that the pros have more white leds
