Radion problem

I bought two separate used radions from two different sellers here on reef2reef I bought a reeflink new and am trying to hook up the radions to it. One hooked right up wirelessly. The other didnt so i hooked it up using a usb. I have sat here and let it search for 30 minutes about 3 times and its not connecting. Has anyone else had this problem, and if so how did you fix it. Thanks

Those things can be frustrating. Tech support is pretty good - I'd email them and not waste a whole night doing reboots etc... Mine were a real headache... but with enough firmware updates, they now work great.

How long did it take to do firmware updates

Ok - best to email tech support with the serial # of the radion. Those get “attached” to accounts and don’t always transfer seamlessly it seems.

the light blinks orange when plugged in so i am guessing it is connected good.

The trick is that you have two software programs, a reeflink hub, a computer, and cables - and firmware updates for all that crap. There are just too many communication points where things can break down to try and figure it out by trial and error.

The firmware updates took about a year before they finally worked. I think it's finally sorted out now.

Seriously... I am looking forward to your report after talking with tech... I need to buy more of these things later this year and I am curious to know how it goes for you. Good luck!!
