I'd like to see about starting an Ecotech Radion lighting schedule thread where we can all share our color schemes. I'll post mine in a bit, but it would be nice to see where other folks are running theirs.

I've actually had to turn mine down to about 15% output due to the intensity. I had 1w LEDs over the tank before and it was bright and well, these 3w LEDs are just so much more powerful.

Still no one? I know i'm not the only Radion owner around here. anyways, I just thought this to be a way to share our programming, but it seems that this will not be the case.

I am using Johns graph. He is a tech at Eco Tech and its his personal graph for his cube...lots of blue during the day, I would like to see more pop in the morning , light during the day and more pop at night

This is what I want to change to, let me know what you think

On-
9:00 Deep Blues maybe 75% or higher
11:00 12k intensity unknown
14:00 20k intensity unknown
21:00 Deep Blues 75% or dimmer
23:00 Deep Blues dim
00:00-09:00 moonlight

Sound stupid?

what about the red and green light?? and what about the intensities?

Back with my old tank I had 2 VHO actinics on for 2 hours then 2 20K radion MH bulbs turned on until 11 or so at night...no moonlight. You didn't have the choice of intensity, reds, greens...it was what it was.

Thoughts??

This is similar to what I run - purplish sunrise, then 20k in the morning, 14k w/chance of clouds in the afternoon, 20k in the evening, then deep blue with a little red and green fading down to no lights at midnight, then dark all night.

I don't think I'd leave the lights on all night - even at their lowest setting they can keep fish up.

I am considering switching from my 2 sol blues to radion. Are they easy to program, is there a controller or do I need a laptop? I was blown away by the color and sexy case. Ican only run 50%intensity before I burn acans

I love my radions. easy to program and the corals for the most part seem to love them. Seem is used due to two of my corals not being too happy, not sure if it has something to do with the new fixture or water parameters.

Here is mine:

06-08 (night): 0-20% Deep Blue
08-09: 20-70% 20KK
09-10: 70-100% 20kk
10-11: 100%@20kk-100%@14kk
11-17: 100% 14KK
17-18: 100%@14kk-100%@20kk
18-19: 100% 20kk- 70%20kk
19-20: 70% 20kk - (night) 20% All Blue
20-22: 20% All Blue - 10% Deep Blue
22-23: 10% Deep Blue - 0%

Anyone know when thet are gunna have download for a MAC?? I have 2 over my 75 rimless.. Love the lights, but hate my Dell laptop..

It has been promised for a long time, but I haven't heard a release date. I run it on my Mac using VMware Fusion. It works just fine. I am sure it would work equally well with Parrallels or other emulators.
