I recently switched from AI Hydra 26HD’s to Radions. I have (3) Gen 4 XR30 pro with an Aquatic Life T5 hybrid light on my 180 gal display and a Gen5 XR15 blue on my small frag tank. My frag tank is plumbed off my return manifold, to keep it stable. My parameters are:
Alk 8.1
Ca 440
Mg 1340
PO4 .17 (little high)
NO3 25

I am running the AB+ schedule with the whites lowered a little. My T5’s run 6 hrs a day. My question is, why would my frags loose some color when placing them in my display? I have great color in the frag tank, then they turn more “pastel” in the display. I have tried to get similar par in both tanks....250 in frag tank, 250-350 in display.

It's not the par, it's the color temp.
The T5's are washing out the pop generated by the blue leds.
I have a 8 x 80 watt T5 fixture and a pair of 60" Reef Brite XHO fixtures over my display tank.
The RB's come on early before the T5's and everything just glows. Then when the T5's come on most of the pop in the color goes away. Then comes back in the late evening when the T5's are off.

Yes that’s exactly what seems to be happening. I actually have been contemplating turning the T5 off and just simply run the radions

when i move frags / colonies to my t5 they used to brown out when i was using a purple full spectrum but with all ati deep blues it holds the color okay. i'm expiermenting now with radion pros on one frag tank, metal halide and led combo on one , and 500 watts of t5 over a tub. so far my most impressive growth is from the t5 and the metal halide, but radion wins the color department
