Radion really hot

Hi all,
I just got a radion xr30w and it seems that the fan never turns on? It has been on for around 20 mins and the rubberish sides of the light is really hot to touch and the light's fans are still not on... Is this normal and the fans just take a while?

I never personally had this issue, but I'd check to see if theres any instructions with the fan. The ones I've had had small screws to the fan guard that I'd take out to clean the fan. It would get pretty gunked up from time to time. Check to see if theres any instructions preventing the fan from spinning

What Generation? I thought the fans on the XR30 stayed on all the time.

The fans should always be on. Open it up and check the wiring. If it doesnt turn on, you might as well dump the fixture, as it will burn out.
