Radion slide mounts mystery part?

What in the world are these for? They were in the bag with the mounting screws.

What wire? The steel hanging cable? They don't fit anything else.

For placing the cord that comes out of the top of the light down into the cooling fins.
Then push that onto the fin to trap the cord and hold it in place to hide the cord until it exits out the back of the light.
