I have a Fluval M60 tank with a Radion Gen 2 on an RMS mount. The aquscape that I have has shadowing effect so am looking to supplement it T5. Also T5 supplements better colors etc. Since there not much available I was looking to build one. Trinitorn Aquatics had one coming out but it never came : http://reefbuilders.com/2014/09/10/triton-aquatics-hybrid-t5-led-invites-bring-lights/
I found one off ebay to do a retrofit - it a 6 bulb T5 with the dimensions as 24.9 x 13.9 x 3.4 inches and 11 pounds and tank mount. The distance between the 2nd and 5th light it around 7 3/4 inches which gives me enough space to put the radion in. (See here for retail information: http://www.marineand...e_w4aApu38P8HAQ)
I got a few reflectors (not the best) and and kind off came up with a design of how to get the radion and t5 to work. The 6 bulb unit can take only take in 2 bulbs with the radion. Any bigger unit it is serious kill due to light spillage.

Light assembly build completed and still 2 steps behind final product. Still need to get a hanging assembly on wall, proper bulbs.
I used a plexiglass strip to mount the radion rather than a whole board. I wanted to keep the side vents on the top of the radion open. Notice the vent is just bedside the T5 fixture fan so on one end and another opening on another. I think this can handle heat well. If need I will get a small fan blowing sideways across on the top side of the radion.
The T5 relfectors are not drilled in and are set well along the little protruding edge of the fixture. I like it that way since this give me flexibility to turn the reflector within the fixture if needed
I think this is okay as a first attempt. My ideal fixture would be a ATI 6 X 24W
JUST T5's:

Testing on Tank - Just Radion: (need to get a hanging kit)
